About MOST

Supporting Maritime Training and Assessment Across NSW

Maritime Operations and Seafarer Training (MOST) provides professional maritime training and assessment services throughout New South Wales on behalf of Marine Training Academy (RTO 30683).

Our focus is on delivering quality, user-friendly maritime education, practical training and competency-based assessments that support individuals pursuing careers and qualifications in the maritime industry.

What MOST Does

MOST delivers both theoretical and practical training, supports students throughout their learning journey and conducts assessments against the requirements of nationally recognised maritime qualifications.

While MOST is not itself a Registered Training Organisation, the training and assessment services we provide are undertaken on behalf of Marine Training Academy, which is responsible for the nationally recognised training and qualifications offered.

NSW Statewide Service Coverage

MOST provides maritime training and assessment services to students and maritime industry participants across New South Wales.

Our flexible approach allows us to support training delivery in various locations, helping individuals, employers and maritime operators access professional maritime education and assessment services.

Whether you are entering the maritime industry, upgrading your qualifications or advancing your career, MOST is committed to supporting your training needs.

Maritime Training Pathways

MOST provides training and assessment services across a range of maritime qualification pathways, from entry-level maritime operations through to vessel command and marine engineering.

Our services are designed to support individuals seeking to develop their maritime knowledge, practical skills and professional competencies.

Training and assessment activities are conducted in accordance with the applicable training package requirements and the standards established by Marine Training Academy (RTO 30683).

Working With Marine Training Academy

MOST provides maritime training and assessment services on behalf of Marine Training Academy (RTO 30683).

Through this relationship, MOST undertakes training delivery, practical instruction, student support and assessment activities for courses offered by Marine Training Academy.

Marine Training Academy remains the Registered Training Organisation responsible for enrolments, regulatory compliance, assessment outcomes and the issuance of nationally recognised qualifications and Statements of Attainment.

This arrangement allows MOST to concentrate on providing professional, industry-focused maritime training and assessment throughout NSW, while ensuring students undertake courses offered through a recognised training provider.

Our Commitment to Quality Maritime Training

At MOST, we are committed to delivering professional, practical and industry-relevant maritime training and assessment.

We recognise the importance of combining theoretical knowledge with real-world maritime experience to help students develop the skills and confidence required to operate safely and competently in the maritime industry.

Our approach emphasises quality instruction, practical competency, student support and professional standards throughout the training and assessment process.
